What Others Are Saying About Our Books...
I PASSED!!! Having Gang Chen's book helped out greatly the second time around. I did not have this resource the first time taking the exam. So, I would highly recommend it for those who are preparing for the ARE - CDS exam. The book gives helpful study tips and pointer to preparing for the exam. The sample mock exam is great because it asks questions in an equivalent format that the actual exam would. What also is great is there is a detailed explanation of all the answers right or wrong and where to look it up. Overall this book helped. It is a must have for study material. Thank You, Gang Chen.
I have read almost all the books for LEED Exams, and found LEED Exam Guide Series to be the best. The USGBC Reference Guide was too detailed and kind of confusing. Some other third party books have too many grammatical mistakes and are hard to understand, and way too many questions. The questions in those books are confusing instead of helpful. The USGBC workshop missed some of the very important information, like extra credits.
LEED Exam Guide Series gives you just the right amount of information for you to pass the LEED exam. Each book in the series includes study materials, sample questions and answers, as well as mock exam and answers for a specific LEED exam. It also gives you the most information for you to get your building LEED certified. A Great book!
A Great Book for Preparing the LEED Exam!
I took the 1-day Green LEED GA course and walked away with a power point binder printed in very small print, which was missing MUCH of the required information (although I didn't know it at the time). I studied my little heart out and took the test; only to fail it by 1 point. Turns out I did NOT study all the material I needed to in order to pass the test. I found this book ("LEED GA Study Guide"), read it, marked it up, re-took the test, and passed it with a 95%. Look, we all know the LEED GA exam is new, and the resources for study are VERY limited. This one's the VERY best out there right now. I highly recommend it. -----ConsultantVA
Finally! A comprehensive study tool for LEED GA Prep!
I studied this book ("LEED GA Study Guide") for about three days and passed the exam...if you are truly interested in learning about the LEED system and green building design, this is a great place to start.
Complete overview for the LEED GA exam
?I honestly found out you wrote ARE books on the day I contacted you. I wish I knew about it before spending time reading both Kaplan and Ballast. I will definitely purchase those fours subjects for my exam retaking soon.
...Thank you again. Now I have my hope to retake those ARE. Your LEED book did make me pass with 95% score. I have faith in your books.?

I have faith in your books
I passed LEED test at first time try by reading only one book from Gang Chen. Thank you for providing such the right material!
When used in conjunction with solid study materials, this mock exam was invaluable to me for passing CDS on my first attempt. For the vignette, the walk-through was particularly helpful in navigating NCARB's notoriously difficult software by proposing a logically ordered sequence and showing where inefficiencies could be eliminated to save time and perfect solutions. The MC questions are well written, and although a couple of typos are present, the meaning is obvious, and doesn't outweigh what makes this a 5 star book. They're written like the NCARB questions, with various types...check all that apply, fill in the blank, best answer, etc. The answer key helpfully describes why the correct answer is correct, and why the incorrect answers are not. At half the cost of other mock exams, this is a must buy if you want to pass CDS the first time you take it.
Great Study Guide
The ARE CDS Mock Exam provided realistic exam-based review questions which had a positive impact on my results. This review along with ARE Forum deserve credit for preparing me for my final exam. I am now a registered architect in my jurisdiction. Wouldn't have done it so soon without this valuable tool. Thanks again Mr. Gang Chen.
Great Study Guide
The work ("Planting Design Illustrated") in my view has incredible application to planting design generally and a system approach to what is a very difficult subject to teach, at least in my experience. Also featured is very beautiful philosophy of garden design principles bordering poetry. It?s my strong conviction that this work needs to see the light of day by being published for the use of professionals, students & garden enthusiasts.?

Incredible application to planting design
I found this book ("Planting Design Illustrated") to be absolutely fascinating. You will need to concentrate while reading it but the effort will be well worth your time.
